I’m still on Topsail Island, NC today, on my five-day vacation.
Early Friday morning, a delightful pod of dolphins was overlooked by about a dozen people who walked by–studying the shells at their feet instead of watching the horizon. (I was sitting on the deck with my camera handy–it’s surprisingly hard to snap a photo of a dolphin when it’s at a distance.)
As I observed the entire scene (the dolphins and the people missing out on seeing the dolphins) I was struck by the metaphor in relation to my business. What might I be missing by keeping my attention too close? And now I ask you, What might you be missing that’s just out on the horizon?

And I can’t resist sharing these other photos of some of our fun . (Click on any image to see the larger version.)

Hope you’ve had a great weekend, too!
